Let The Good Times Roll Festival
Let the Good Times Roll is a festival that needed a rebrand to convey its culturally fun environment, celebrating Juneteenth. I research the target audience and the audience they want to reach for more engagement. They primarily target an audience that is mainly African Americans. They want to get other cultures in Shreveport to recognize the holiday and participate in their festival. So I redesigned the logo and brand guidelines for the festival. The logo is an acronym of the festival set against a color palette inspired by Juneteenth with yellow, purple, red, and green. I chose a bold font that represents the culture as being fun and daring. I created an African American-inspired pattern for the brand to bring our artistic culture to the target audience to experience. Once I made the brand guidelines, I designed five different media deliverables to reach the audience. I developed brand collateral, including a t-shirt, ticket, poster, and VIP festival lanyard pass. Once I developed the brand collateral, I created magazine ads, outdoor advertising of billboards, bus stop ads, and outdoor banners. Additionally, I created guerrilla marketing. Some constraints I had with the campaign were that it was a class project, so I couldn’t speak directly to the client and make adjustments. Additionally, I did not have the finances for the deliverables. Tools Adobe Photoshop Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator
